It's been a few decades. I'm not particularly proud of this site, but it's fun to look back on how far I came. I'm working on stripping all the lycos stuff out. I don't really build model railroads anymore, though I do still have a childlike passion for trains, mich to my wife's confusion. :P When I was a child, my grandmother in Germany used to walk with us to a bench near the railroad where we could watch the trains. She passed, and they put up soundwalls that block the views of the trains in most places, but I will never forget and I will always cherish those memories. My spelling has improved significantly. I'm still disappointed to see the state of rail travel in the US, though there are a few projects that give me hope for the future. No idea if I'll develop this site, or one linked to it. For now, I'm moving my homepage to preserve it against the enshittification that has taken over the web. It's a cool museum of the opportuniity that the young web presented to a high schooler back in the early 2000s.

Interesting, Apparently Amtrack wants to buy some ICE's. They had a German company bring one over and they dragged it across the countries decrepite un-electrified tracks to show it off. They want to run it in the northeast corridor at 125 mph. This picture is in Arizona.

Greetings, I finally have a chance to update the site and fix some things up. I havn't made all that much progress on my railroad lately and the site has been stagnent for some time. That picture of hte month has been there for almost a year now. I think I'll get to work now.

My little brother got a digital camera for christmas so in a while I might start actually uploading more pictures and using some space.
