Your probably thinking finally. This lazy bum has gotten around to adding something new. Well your right. I am going to start adding track plans and giving my opinion about what to use in which situations.

Simple Oval: Probably the most commen and most simp[le track plan is the oval. The oval provides continuous running and can have sidings added to raise interest slightly. You can also reconnect the siding toi the track to make a passing rail. If you run more than one train on you layout this will become invaluable when it comes to allowing faster trains to pass the slower ones. Additional sidings can also be added to this one to create a railyard. A wall in the middle of the oval alows you too paint a backdrop and also makes the train look less like its driving in circles.
